It’s been a long time I am searching for a framework, and now I know which one, it’s Vue

Vue or React

Since I have stopped the devs of Phaser 2 CE I was searching for a way of creating web sites, and it took me a long time as I was focused on React (for Javascript) and Symfony (for PHP) but always stuck on the first line of code because their logics are complicated

Symfony was just because it’s used by PrestaShop but when I’ve seen that they are very selective in their recrutement I have been decieved, also haveing a CMS that every plugin is paid started to not interest me, also when seeing that we can build an online shop with VueForge event is possible, those story are coming soon on my Medium

Still thinking about how to progress in Javascript and PHP I wasn’t sure what to do as most of the time it’s JQuery and Wordpress that comes into the game

After a long study I have abondoned the idea of React and Symfony to focus on Vue (for Javascript) and Laravel (for PHP) because it works well

Also the CSS part is very important so Vue provide a very nice approach that can let you express your design skills just by using your CodePen work and portfolio. As a user of Bootstrap I was really amazed by the CSS frameworks that are available for Vue

So, I have made a list of stuff that can be used with Vue

CSS Frameworks

  • BootstrapVue, yes but no, so why?
  • Vuetify, not yet available for Vue3
  • Bulma, works fine with Vue2
  • TailwindCSS, need to pay something ?
  • Buefy, working with Vue3
  • Quasar
  • Unfortunately not a lot of StoryBooks that are more focused on React

Backend

  • RestFul API/Mongo, mongodb at 57$/Month
  • Laravel/MySQL, seems free
  • Strapi, free and available soon on the cloud
  • Deskree, premium at 69.99$/Month

Around Vue

  • Nuxt
  • VuePress
